Innovations & Brand Development
ย In 1991, we unfolded an unorthodox six-yard that shaped the perspective of a modern Banarasi saree. The promoters of SND Group launched a registered brand of woven designer sarees โVALAKAMโ, meaning โ the first ever cloth created by beating the bark of a tree. It revolutionized the approach in which Indian sarees were designed.
Moving ahead, โEkaya Banarasโ was launched in 2012 to streamline the paradigm shift in fashion. Serving high-end premium quality sarees, lehengas, ready-to-wear, thaan and dupattas, it has become a pioneer in moulding traditional aesthetics into versatile classics. With exclusive retail outlets across Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad, the brand has flourished with its repertoire of progressive designs.
